Ethan Adrian Bakkes, 14, of Plant City, Florida, born in Lakeland, on November 8, 2006, entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2021. He was a high school student at Seffner Christian Academy, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, air-boating, aircraft, and dreamed of flying with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds or Blue Angels. He is survived by parents, CJ and Yolandie Bakkes; sister, Lisa Bakkes of Nashville, Tennessee; grandmothers, Anita Vorster of South Africa, and Elsabe Bakkes of Jacksonville; and many extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 21 at 11:00 A.M. at First Freewill Baptist Church of Tampa, 11605 US Hwy 92 East, Seffner, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
