John Robert Sapp, Sr., 57, of Plant City, Florida, born in Lakeland on August 16, 1964, entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2021. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, a retired electrician for Hillsborough County School System, and a lifetime farmer. He loved his family dearly, was compassionate, and enjoyed farming with his wife, and animals. He is survived by wife of 33 years, Patricia “Patsy” D. Sapp; son, Joshua Sapp of Dover; mother, Shirley Sapp; siblings, Susie Sapp, Jason Sapp, Stevie Sapp, Norman Sapp (Bridgette), and Billy Sapp; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by father, Herbert G. Sapp; son, John Robert Sapp. Jr.; and brother, Herbert Sapp, Jr. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 8 at 11:00 A.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
