Chief Mark A. Curts, 69, of Dover, Florida, born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 14, 1952, entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2022. He was a retired Chief for the Dover-Turkey Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by wife of 34 years, Barbara Curts; children, David Reid (Lori) of Melbourne, Melanie Schaller (Ken) of Tampa, Megan Curts of Wesley Chapel, and Michele Curts of Gainesville; grandchildren, Shane Schaller, Brianna Merryman, and Isabella Reid; mother, Patricia Sager (Fred) of Ruskin; siblings, Diana Jones (Roger), and Janet Frownfelter; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 1 at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M.
